  1. Human Rights Protection: Work for ensuring that basic human rights are respected everywhere and are not compromised for economic or political expediency.
  2. Democratic Values: Recognize democratic institutions as a fundamental human right and promote the rule of law.
  3. Education & Awareness: Promote human rights education, literacy and public awareness through publications, media, seminars and other means.
  4. Support for Vulnerable Communities: Keep the interests of disempowered, poor, weak and marginalized communities foremost.
  5. Women & Child Protection: Work to reduce gender inequalities, exploitation, social discrimination and child labour.
  6. Research & Case Studies: Study custodial deaths, encounters, misuse of power and human rights violations.
  7. Legal Aid & Advice: Provide legal aid and advice for indigent and weaker sections while encouraging lawful remedies.
  8. Institutional Cooperation: Work with commissions, statutory bodies, NGOs and media organizations.
  9. International Perspective: Study global institutions and international frameworks for civil liberties.
  10. Training & Youth Development: Train young people to face social challenges with democratic values.
