Right to Freedom
Every citizen is free to express thoughts through speech, writing or newspapers, criticize policies lawfully, move freely and carry on trade or business in India.
Right to Freedom of Religion
All religions are equal before law. Every citizen is free to practice, propagate and worship any religion of choice.
Right to Equality
All citizens are equal before law without discrimination based on caste, creed, religion, sex, wealth or place of birth.
Right to Education and Culture
Every child has the right to education without discrimination, and minority groups may preserve their language and culture.
Right Against Exploitation
No person can be forced to work without wages or against their wishes. Child labour in factories, mines and risky occupations is prohibited.
Right to Constitutional Remedies
When fundamental rights are denied or harmed, citizens can approach the court of law to seek justice and protection.
